Development Coordinator
LOCATION: Administration Office – 9502 19th Ave SE, Everett
SALARY: DOE

HOURS: Full time
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County is looking for a Development Coordinator as a key member of the Development team in support of 17 Clubs serving over 14,000 kids. This position is responsible for the fundraising database and donor acknowledgement process, supports cultivation and stewardship of donors, and provides general support for fundraising activities. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and an attention to detail, and has a desire to experience a wide range of opportunities in the development profession.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process gifts and pledges and coordinate appropriate follow up
- Prepare and process gift acknowledgements
- Complete data entry and maintain donor records including tracking donations, event attendance, communication and stewardship activities, and donor affiliations
- Build and run queries and reports for Development staff and Clubs
- Track outstanding pledges and send invoices and pledge reminders
- Generate targeted mail lists for newsletters, fundraising campaigns, and other direct mail and email communications, and track responses where appropriate
- Coordinate and prepare donor and prospect mailings
- Conduct donor and prospect research and add relevant information to donor database
- Assist with planning and implementation of the Grand Gala Auction, including writing auction procurement letters, event registration, table captain follow up, tracking of sponsors and auction items, and on-site support the night of the event
- Provide training and support for Club events
- Provide administrative office support as needed, including occasional marketing support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two or more years of administrative experience; fund development experience preferred
- Previous experience with fundraising software; Raisers Edge and AuctionMaestro preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective time management skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional customer service and diplomacy skills to effectively work with a variety of people
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member in a changing environment
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings for events

Program Director

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Unit Director, the Program Director plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates programs and activities that will enhance the personal growth and development of club members.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Is personally involved in planning and implementing the Boys & Girls Clubs five core areas on a daily basis.
- Establishes a program setting that insures the health and safety of members.
- Contributes to the creation of the overall club climate for youth development.
- Plans programs and activities consistent with the organization’s youth development mission.
- Provides behavioral guidance services to club members.
- Manages necessary administrative functions and assigned resources, including program budgets.
- Promotes and markets programs to club members to increase membership and daily attendance.
- Manages Project Learn, OJP reporting and other grant based programs
- Formula for Impact: Manages process to ensure priority outcomes. Works to implement National Youth Outcome Initiative and track to ADA and membership goals.
- Supervision of part time employees.
QUALIFICATIONS: College degree preferred or equivalent experience necessary to perform the functions of the job. Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar non-profit organization a plus. Age 23 + with quality driving record and ability to drive a 15 passenger van.

Site Director Position
LOCATION: Edmonds Boys & Girls Club 310 6th Ave N. Edmonds,WA 98020
COMPENSATION: DOE
HOURS: Part -time 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM daily. Opportunity for more hours on non-school days, holidays, and Spring/Summer & Winter school breaks
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Unit & Program Directors, the Club Site Director plans, coordinates, and implements daily and monthly activities for youth at the Boys & Girls Club school sites.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that all programs and activities are organized and conducted in a professional manner.
- Be responsible for monies collected from families, record keeping of that money and safe transportation of that money to the Main club after every shift.
- Monitor and evaluate programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of all members, quality of programs, and club appearance.
- Create an environment that facilitates and promotes participation and guidance to all members.
- Supervise part-time staff when necessary.
- Provide support for youth and families.
- Participate in special programs and/or events when necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: At least 30 college credits in childcare/education or related field. Experience supervising staff and children. Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems, plan and implement quality programs, and to organize and supervise members in a safe environment. Must be age 21 or older, have CPR/First Aid and STARS training, along with a TB test within 30 days of employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES: Job functions include: Plan and assist with planning and implementing age appropriate activities, transporting children to and from school, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, ability to work with ages 5-12 years, contribute to the creation of the overall club climate for youth development, provide behavioral guidance services to Club members, general cleaning, and other duties as needed.
The Site Director will be running an after school child care site. Must have the ability to interact positively with the kids, plan the curriculum, work closely with school staff, have great communication with parents and supervise staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant MUST be 23 years of age or older with a CLEAN driving record. Must bring a Washington State DOL abstract to drive 15 passenger vans. Prior experience with children in a group setting, licensed child care, curriculum planning, CPR, First Aid, and STARS or MERIT training a plus.
