A Letter from COO Marci Volmer

Hello all,

Despite what it looks like out the window, spring is finally here and there is so much to be excited about at the Clubs!

As with so many things in the spring, our Clubs are growing too! I am so happy to report that this week, we hit our highest attendance day since before the pandemic, with almost 4,000 youth walking through our doors for spring sports and before & after school programs! And speaking of spring sports, we currently have 372 teams playing volleyball, flag football, and soccer!

Club staff are busy planning an exciting and fun summer camp, full of enrichment activities, special events, and creative weekly themes. Who wouldn’t get excited about Super Hero Week, Decades Week, or Master Chef week (just to name a few)?

Registration is now open!

It’s also the season for our Spring appeal. You’ve received our mailer and likely have noticed our social media posts. We can do more because of you – your contributions have helped kids develop healthy habits, have more access to technology, and feel connected & supported.

Over 64% of Club alumni share that the Club changed their life’s direction. That’s powerful. You can be that change.

Help us to continue to do more and accomplish our mission — to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Your gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County ensures that together, we can do MORE.

If you would like to learn more about our growth plans or take a tour of one of our Clubs, please reach out to me.

Thank you for your continued support!

Warmly,
Marci Volmer
