The South Whidbey Club recently opened in 2025 in Langley, WA. The Club currently offers before- and after-school childcare and holiday camps, with activities including art, STEM, Healthy Habits, Fiber Art Club and Spanish Club.

Childcare

The South Whidbey Club offers before and after school childcare for kids ages 5-13.

HOURS

Before school: 7:00 – 9:00 AM
After school: 2:00 – 6:00 PM (1:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesdays)

SCHOOLS SERVED

South Whidbey Elementary and Middle school, Island Christian Academy, Whidbey Waldorf and other neighboring schools

FULL & HALF DAY FEES

Before OR after school: $315/month
Before & after school: $475/month
Wednesday only after school: $150/month

Activities

STEM activities, field days, water fun, LEGO & fine arts contests, theme weeks, field trips

Cost

$200/week (4 or 5 days), $140/week (3 days)
Registration fee: $50

Membership

At the Club, we keep our kids safe, provide them with resources to accomplish their homework, let them play, and instill values focused on leadership, character and friendship. Club kids enjoy nutritious, hot meals and healthy snacks. The programs offered at our Clubs encourage growth in the three following areas: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character and Leadership Development. Our programs are delivered by trained, caring professionals and volunteers in a safe environment that encourages kids to explore their interests, gain confidence, and make new friends.

Holidays & Club Closures

All Boys & Girls Club locations will be closed the following dates. Please note that there are changes from previous years.

January 1st- New Year’s Day
January 20th- Martin Luther King, JR. Day
May 26th- Memorial Day
June 19th- Juneteenth
July 4th- Independence Day
September 1st- Labor Day
October 13th- Indigenous Peoples’ Day
November 11th- Veterans Day- All Staff Training Day
November 27th and 28th- Thanksgiving Holiday
December 22-26- Winter Holidays
January 1, 2026- New Year’s Day

Please note that there will be additional Club Closure dates at the end of the school year and the end of summer camp for staff safety, program training, building cleaning and maintenance. Dates for specific Clubs will be posted by the end of January for planning purposes.
