Our Club

The Trailside Club was established in 2007. The Club is located next to the Trailside Village apartment complex, behind the VOA preschool. We offer before & after school childcare, summer camp, and a teen program. We are a very unique Club because we waive our annual membership fee. We have computers with internet, Xbox360 with games, and a pool table, foosball, and more. We serve healthy snacks each day and we offer homework time.

Membership

At the Club, we keep our kids safe, provide them with resources to accomplish their homework, let them play, and instill values focused on leadership, character and friendship. Club kids enjoy nutritious, hot meals and healthy snacks. The programs offered at our Clubs encourage growth in the three following areas: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character and Leadership Development. Our programs are delivered by trained, caring professionals and volunteers in a safe environment that encourages kids to explore their interests, gain confidence, and make new friends.

Holidays & Club Closures

All Boys & Girls Club locations will be closed the following dates. Please note that there are changes from previous years.

January 1st- New Year’s Day
January 20th- Martin Luther King, JR. Day
May 26th- Memorial Day
June 19th- Juneteenth
July 4th- Independence Day
September 1st- Labor Day
October 13th- Indigenous Peoples’ Day
November 11th- Veterans Day- All Staff Training Day
November 27th and 28th- Thanksgiving Holiday
December 22-26- Winter Holidays
January 1, 2026- New Year’s Day

Please note that there will be additional Club Closure dates at the end of the school year and the end of summer camp for staff safety, program training, building cleaning and maintenance. Dates for specific Clubs will be posted by the end of January for planning purposes.
