A contribution is a wonderful way to make a difference in a child’s life. As a volunteer, it can make a real difference in your life as well. By sharing your time and talents as a dependable trustworthy volunteer at the Club, you will help youth develop skills and build confidence all while having fun and making friends.

We encourage you to connect with a Club near you to find out what volunteer opportunities are available and where your time can make the biggest impact.

How do I become a Boys & Girls Club volunteer?

In an effort to keep our Clubs safe we require a background check to volunteer. After your interview with a Club Manager and approval for submitting a background check, instructions to do so will be provided. We require a copy of your photo ID and email address to be kept at the Club. We have partnered with Verified Volunteers to provide screening services for our volunteers. Volunteering with us is also a great way to earn community service credits!

National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer month and we want to graciously thank our wonderful volunteers! Our volunteers assist us in running our national programs, create and facilitate additional educational programs, coach our sports teams, act as Jr. staff and we currently have two AmeriCorps Volunteers developing and supporting programs. Our volunteers are an integral piece of the puzzle in enabling all young people in our Clubs, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
